Two teenagers have developed an app that allows you to connect with people you don’t know and have a video chat with them!

Ben Pastarnak, one of the developers of the app, 17 years old, suggests that in the first 5 weeks of being launched the app had 215,000 users.

It’s marketed as the Omegle for SnapChat – once you have downloaded the app and ‘proved’ you are over 18 years old, the app will match you up with people of the same age, from all across the world.

Once you are connected, then both parties add time to their FaceTime accounts and the video conversation can carry on, otherwise the call disconnects.

Check out this video from our founder Wayne Denner going into a little more detail about the Monkey app.
